Plot: When Blair's father, Harold, comes home for the holidays with an unexpected guest -- his boyfriend, Roman -- Blair finds it difficult to hide her disappointment and hatches a plan to get rid of Roman for good.
Jenny and Vanessa help Serena plan the best Christmas surprise ever for Dan, who may have a surprise of his own in mind for Serena. Chuck texts Blair that Nate has joined him in Monaco, worrying Blair that Chuck may disclose the details of their hook-up.
Rufus refuses to remain the understanding husband any longer after Alison's former lover calls the house.
Chuck: You guys have been dating since Kindergarten and you haven't sealed the deal? Nate: Who says 'seal the deal'?

EXCLUSIVE: 'Gossip Girl' season 2 premieres Sept. 1
We still don't know what exactly Gossip Girl's Serena (Blake Lively) and Georgina (Michelle Trachtenburg) did that drove them to leave New York, but EW.com can exclusively reveal that The CW's hit will return for season 2 on Monday, Sept. 1. Look for that first episode to feature cast members OMG-ing and LOL-ing in the Hamptons. The CW will offiically announce their schedule in New York during next week's Upfront presentations.
